The Director, Supply Chain Business Operations serves as a strategic operating partner between SCBO’s run-the-business (RTB) needs, the Strategy & Transformation Team roadmap, ensuring current operations, future-state capabilities, and major transformation initiatives are aligned and executed to scale long-term operations. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain Business Operations, this role will help build and mature IREN’s Source-to-Pay (S2P) operating model while establishing the frameworks, processes, governance and cross-functional alignment needed to ensure procurement operates as a single, well-executed engine across the business. * Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. * 12+ years of progressive supply chain technology leadership experience, ideally at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or AI infrastructure company. * 12+ years of experience leading S2P operations, including tooling, process, compliance, and operating framework implementation at scale. * Experience managing supplier relationships and performance management, including leading business reviews. * Experience operating and continuously improving procurement systems and automation (e.g., P2P platforms, CLM tools, GenAI-enabled workflows) to drive end-to-end visibility and reduce manual overhead. * Strong executive presence and change management skills, with a track record of influencing and aligning senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, and driving adoption of new capabilities. * Act as a strategic bridge between SCBO and the Strategy & Transformation Team, connecting RTB priorities across tooling, process and compliance with current and future transformation initiatives. * Build and lead a high-performing team, establishing best practices, KPIs, and governance cadences as IREN’s supply chain technology/application portfolio scales. * Translate business operational needs and portfolio priorities into transformation requirements and roadmaps. * Help define and build the future-state S2P operating model, including process, governance, technology, data and organizational interfaces. * Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and opportunities across procurement, supply chain, Finance, Legal, IT and business teams. * Partner with Finance to connect procurement planning, budgets, commitments, forecasts and actual spend. * Establish scalable procurement operating mechanisms, KPIs, reporting, and governance. * Translate complex business requirements into scalable operational, process, data, and technology solutions. * Drive cross-functional programs from strategy through implementation and adoption. * Assess and prioritize business impact, scalability risk, and value proposition for long-term initiatives. * Lead resolution of complex and ambiguous S2P issues impacting company-wide operations. * Identify the critical skillsets needed to support and advance capabilities across the supply chain technology/application portfolio. Other important requirements * Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies. * Must be able to reliably commute to the assigned office location on scheduled in-office days under the hybrid work arrangement. * IREN does not yet have an office in the Bay Area (a Santa Clara office is planned); until it opens, this role will work remotely, transitioning to hybrid on-site work once the office is established.
