Our MedTech Clinical Educator with a focus on Pharmacy Technician role experience a unique opportunity to employ their technician expertise in a new way, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for educating end users on a new product in hospital pharmacy facilities. The product being supported is a closed system drug transfer device used in an oncology setting. Our ideal candidate will enjoy educating others, presenting to groups, and have a professional business acumen including strong communication and soft skills. What you will be doing in the role: • Utilize Pharmacy Technician expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device • Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience • Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments You will have an opportunity to travel, grow, and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry. Job Requirements: • Active and current Pharmacy Technician license • Must be available at least two weeks per month for assignments • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required of up to 50 pounds • Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including providing proof of up-to-date vaccination status, required Travel Requirement: • Full-time commitment with travel flexibility. • This is a per-diem position, requiring travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs while having the flexibility to work with your current schedule. On average there are 1-2 assignments per month, ranging from 3-5 days long per assignment. • Driving is considered a business requirement for this role. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire. • Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home. • Located within 1 hour of a major airport. • Travel, and your time traveling is paid. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
