In this role, you will perform hands-on configuration, deployment, tuning, and sustainment of enterprise monitoring solutions within a secured environment. We are seeking a Monitoring Platform Engineer (Senior) for a contract position. Position: Monitoring Platform Engineer (Senior) Position Type: Full-time-Remote Role Specific Duties/ Role Responsibilities: Perform hands-on configuration, deployment, tuning, and sustainment of monitoring solutions. Develop dashboards, alerts, and automation using Splunk SOAR/Ansible, along with event management workflows. Support integration testing and production rollout activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate monitoring requirements into scalable technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability. Document configurations, standard operating procedures, and lessons learned to support knowledge transfer. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of experience configuring and supporting enterprise monitoring tools in secured environments. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and CMDB integration. Strong troubleshooting skills across monitoring, alerting, and telemetry pipelines. Ability to work independently in a secured, enterprise environment with minimal oversight.
