Develop and maintain the SS4Kids web and mobile SaaS platform, including app store authorization and payment integration, ensuring security and scalability.
Proven experience with Rails and Ionic React development, app store submission, WooCommerce and Stripe integration, and ability to work remotely on a part-time project basis.
About Us SingandSpeak4Kids.com (SS4Kids) is an evidence-based, music-driven online program helping children ages 2–8 with speech-language delays (Autism, intellectual disabilities, multilingual learners) accelerate their development through engaging, gamified, and AI-assisted song creation. Our mission is to bring joyful learning and accessible therapeutic tools to children, families, and educators worldwide. The Role We are seeking a part-time, remote, project-based Developer to support ongoing development of SS4Kids and our new Make Your Own Song (MYOS) feature, built on Rails and Ionic React. Immediate Priority Tasks We need someone who already has proven experience in the following, and can complete them quickly and efficiently: 1. Finalizing Apple App Store authorization for our SS4Kids mobile app (Google Play version is live). 2. Setting up WooCommerce + WordPress + Stripe integration with our backend. Ongoing Responsibilities • Manage and improve our tech stack (web + mobile SaaS platform) • Ensure product security, scalability, and compliance (HIPAA/FERPA) • Support multimedia integrations (audio, animation, AI/voice synthesis) • Deliver project-based development, user data and IT maintenance on time and on budget Commitment • Availability for at least 1 year, averaging 10–12 hours/month, with possible larger projects tbd • Weekly 30–45 min online team meeting, working hours Pacific Time (Los Angeles) • Flexible, project-based billing at $60/hr (pre-approved projects + IT maintenance) What We Value • A strong desire to contribute to the mission and impact of SS4Kids • Motivation to help children, families, and educators through innovative, evidence-based tools • Ability to work independently, promptly, and confidently deliver results with timely communication How to Apply (NO AGENTS OR RECRUITERS ACCEPTED) Please send to david@iqsonics.com: 1.
