Iowa State University is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join the Information Technology Services (ITS) team. This position plays a critical role in designing, developing, and enhancing digital workflows and applications across campus using ServiceNow's modern development tools and integrations. What you’ll do: Design and develop solutions using ServiceNow tools such as Flow Designer, Studio, App Engine Studio, and Process Automation Designer. Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX to build custom functionality within ServiceNow. Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, APIs, and middleware to support scalable ITSM practices and service integration. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and document development work. Participate in development projects of varying complexity, serving as the lead developer for initiatives that improve user experience and system performance. Follow established development standards and best practices for ServiceNow environments. Support both planned and unplanned maintenance, including occasional off-hours work. This position will join a growing team dedicated to transforming campus service delivery through automation, process improvement, and user-centered design.
