Sr. Process Engineer - Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) Onsite Location: 741 4th Street, Menasha, WI 54952 Candidates not currently in the area should be open to relocating. Join the IPG Team! Now, we're expanding our team and seeking a Sr. Process Engineer who's passionate about driving efficiency, quality, and sustainability in manufacturing. What You'll Do As a Sr. Process Engineer, you'll play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and supporting new product development. Your responsibilities will include: • Willing to hold operators, maintenance, contractors, or other personnel to safety standards. • Develop and conduct employee training sessions as needed for new equipment and processes. • Develops and implements production methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost-efficient manner. • Recommend improved processes, procedures, equipment, and materials which will enhance the efficiency of manufacture and quality of products. • Assist R&D in the development and scale-up of new products. • Investigate and provide remedies for manufacturing process problems. • As required, establish working relationships with outside personnel to meet project objectives. • Knowledgeable of current products, processes, equipment, and procedures to apply to design and equipment analysis. • Maintain detailed records and orderly files on all assigned projects. • Evaluate equipment problems and design requirements of new or modified equipment. • Evaluate environmental compliance projects as they relate to the process function. • Issue periodic status reports. • Coach operating personnel to reduce waste generation. • Investigates and resolves work-in-process problems. • Reviews proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modernization of existing production/processing equipment. • Develop, implement, and communicate work instructions, procedures and other documentation as necessary to support work responsibilities. • The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires Intertape Polymer Group Midland, NC facility to comply with DHS Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) program requirements to identify affected individuals with terrorist ties. Intertape Polymer Group Midland, NC facility has opted to comply with this requirement by collecting and submitting the personally identifiable information (PII) of affected individuals to DHS for the purpose of comparing that PII against information pertaining to known and suspected terrorists maintained by the Federal Government in the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB). Affected individuals are: (1) facility personnel (e.g., employees and contractors) with access, or seeking access, (unescorted or otherwise) to restricted areas or critical assets; and (2) unescorted visitors with access, or seeking access, to restricted areas or critical assets. Affected individuals will undergo recurrent vetting against the TSDB. • Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For • Minimum B.S. Engineering with concentration in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical, plus documented Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. • Demonstrates practical problem-solving abilities. • Maintains a level of trust and credibility within and between departments. • Prioritizes work to focus on important problems/issues. • Communicates clearly, efficiently, and professionally with others in the organization. • Maintains sufficient knowledge of safety and environmental regulations as they may pertain to work assignments. • Completes work assignments in a timely manner. • Willingly provides consultative services to other departments as needed. • Processes are monitored and evaluated for environmental regulations compliance.
