Job Title: Client Technologies Technician - Advanced(Senior Linux Systems Administrator) ( 10696) Location: Columbia , SC 100% Remote (Must be in Continental US & work EST hours) Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible) Interview: 1 Round - Virtual Key Responsibilities • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system software in mission-critical environments • Install, configure, maintain, and optimize operating systems and system software • Monitor system performance, capacity, and stability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership • Support research and development initiatives related to infrastructure • Train and mentor junior technical staff • Troubleshoot complex system issues in Linux/Windows environments Required Skills • 5+ years of experience with Linux/UNIX systems • 3+ years of experience working in a HIPAA-compliant healthcare environment • 3+ years of experience with scripting and automation (Shell, Python, etc.) • 3+ years of experience in mixed Linux & Windows environments • Experience working in VMware or cloud-based enterprise environments Preferred Skills • Experience with RedHat-based Linux systems • Experience with configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Ansible, or Puppet • Version control experience using Git • Experience with logging/monitoring tools like Splunk or Elasticsearch • Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) Education & Certifications • High School Diploma (minimum requirement) • Preferred: RHCT, RHCE, or equivalent Linux certifications
