Senior IT Business Analyst / Project Manager Enterprise Transformation & Process Optimization Location: Remote Travel: Minimal and negotiated in advance, based on project needs Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives that bridge business strategy and technology delivery. This role is ideal for a trusted client-facing professional who excels at requirements discovery, process optimization, and project execution across both Agile and Waterfall environments. You will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver high-impact solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance user experience, and drive measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management Lead structured requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, prioritization, and change management. Assess client needs and recommend solutions by evaluating options, risks, costs, and benefits. Develop, write, and communicate clear business and functional requirements to support solution design and implementation. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Process Improvement & Organizational Change Partner with operating leaders to identify process improvement opportunities and enterprise needs. Lead end-to-end business process improvement initiatives, including: Current and future-state process mapping Cost-benefit and impact analysis Identification and removal of operational barriers Design and support communication, training, and change management plans to ensure adoption and success. Project & Program Management Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle—planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery—ensuring completion on time and within budget. Develop and maintain project schedules, manage dependencies, and resolve risks and issues to closure. Facilitate project governance, including: Weekly status meetings Steering committee updates Program and project status reporting Identify and complete all activities required for operational readiness reviews. Agile & Delivery Execution Lead and support Agile Scrum teams, including: Daily stand-ups Backlog creation and grooming User story development Task prioritization Velocity tracking and reporting Serve as tester and/or business SME for change requests and enterprise initiatives, ensuring adherence to approved testing methodologies. Review test plans and monitor testing execution to ensure business outcomes are met with minimal risk. Stakeholder, Vendor & Executive Engagement Develop and deliver executive-level presentations covering: Project objectives and scope Vendor negotiations Risks and mitigation strategies Timelines, resources, and deliverables Manage vendor relationships, including defining performance expectations and conducting planning sessions. Support procurement activities, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and RFP responses, as needed. Required Qualifications Experience 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT Business Analysis and Project Management. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent projects in complex environments. Experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong understanding of technical implementations and enterprise system enhancements. Technical & Tool Proficiency Proven experience using: Jira MS Project Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Visio Strong knowledge of: Requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation Business and user case development Testing methodologies and validation processes Ability to apply analytical and quantitative reasoning, including probability and statistical inference.
