This newly created role sits at the center of one of TRATON’s most strategic procurement initiatives – building and scaling a unified, data-driven procurement ecosystem across all TRATON brands. In this role, you will own the representation of International’s procurement priorities within the global TPP program – shaping how future-state procurement processes, analytics and digital capabilities are designed, implemented, and adopted. You will act as a critical bridge between internal functional stakeholders and the TPP program ensuring that real-world procurement needs translate to scalable, globally aligned solutions. A core focus of this position is early-stage sourcing enablement and category management transformation, with particular emphasis on the pre-RFQ phase—how sourcing demand is identified, structured, prioritized, and prepared before formal RFQ execution—as well as the development of actionable, analytics-driven category planning capabilities. Your work will directly influence how procurement teams plan, prioritize, and execute sourcing strategies in a more proactive, data-informed, and globally consistent way. This is an opportunity for a motivated professional who wants to shape the future of procurement at scale, work across brands and cultures, and drive tangible change at the intersection of process, data, and technology. Responsibilities • Represent the International brand on the global TRATON Procurement Platform team • Drive the design and implementation of a common procurement ecosystem, with specific focus on Category Management and Analytics and Sourcing Planning and pre-RFQ enablement • Lead the identification, mapping and documentation of current-state category management and sourcing planning processes, proactively identifying opportunities for digitization, standardization, and analytics driven decision making. • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to translate business requirements into TPP design inputs for Category Management and Sourcing and Activity Planning work packages • Contribute to project planning, reporting, and communications • Drive change management and adoption readiness of new processes • Develop training materials to support user onboarding and capability building Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of process improvement, lean or six sigma experience OR • Master's degree and at least 1 year of process improvement, lean or six sigma experience OR • At least 5 years of process improvement, lean or six sigma experience Additional Requirements • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills • Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to drive outcomes in complex, matrixed and global environments • Working knowledge of category management, sourcing pipelines, or spend analytics • Experience working with process design, data, or digital tools in a procurement or supply chain context • Excellent project management skills • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, especially in global environments • Experience with change management and cross-functional collaboration • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international team environment while maintaining accountability for assigned outcomes • Analytical mindset and attention to detail Benefits and Compensation We provide a competitive total rewards package which ensures job satisfaction both on and off the job. We offer market-based compensation, health benefits, 401(k) match, tuition assistance, EAP, legal insurance, an employee discount program, and more.
