This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Events Program Manager located in Washington, DC. The Events Program Manager is a part of the Events Team responsible for the content planning and execution of 7 events per year, ranging from 100 to 4,000+ attendees, and up to $6 million in revenue. We are looking for a collaborative team player with the drive and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the program creation and delivery of best-in-class content. Our ideal candidate must be a keen multi-tasker, highly detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, thrives under pressure and is adept at building relationships. The Events Program Manager will travel to all association conferences and manage registration with a variety of other aspects of each event onsite. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the content development and execution of assigned association’s events to include but not limited to participating in event task force meetings, roundtable facilitator coordination, collecting and preparing content for brochures and programs, as well as support speakers during the planning phase. • Manages speaker logistics for all IFA pillar events ensuring all materials, registration, and presentation deadlines are met. • Oversee the on-site execution of all IFA event educational sessions, which involves supporting and giving excellent customer service experience to speakers who are IFA members. • Manage IFA’s project management tool, Monday.com, which maintains all the pre-planning and post event tasks, deadlines, and status updates. • Work in collaboration with IFA’s Technology team and external logistics partner to prepare content, review and test event registrations, mobile app and IFA franchise.org web pages. • Manage the post-event management work such as analyzing event survey attendee feedback and preparing reports to share with event team as well as session speakers; reconciliation of vendor invoices; and post event attendee communication. • In conjunction with the VP, Event Design & Planning support the Women’s Franchise Committee by being the staff liaison to the Women’s Franchise Network taskforce. • Other duties as required by the Vice President, Event Design and Planning. Ideal Experience: • Bachelor’s degree, Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) credential is a plus, and three to five years of experience in event content development and execution; or a combination of education and experience. • Proficient with Microsoft Office platforms (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and have experience with CVENT, Salesforce, Nimble, or other types of Registration/CRM systems. An understanding of Monday.com is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; creative and forward thinker with an eye to continuous improvement on attendee experience. • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus with the ability to form strong relationships. • Strong project management experience, multi-tasker and ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
