About the Role We are hiring a Senior Creative Strategist to own creative direction across multiple established and emerging DTC brands. This role is for someone who has already built, scaled, and systemized paid social creative, not someone looking to “learn on the job.” You will be responsible for creative architecture, not just writing ads. You’ll work directly with the founder to design, execute, and scale creative systems across several categories and audiences — including restricted and high-compliance environments. Our Brands & Categories You will lead creative strategy across multiple brands, including: Brand 1 — Nostalgic Lifestyle Brand (Age 60+) • Hemp-derived products • Classic strain positioning • Calm, nostalgia-driven messaging • Compliance-sensitive Meta advertising • Heavy emphasis on trust, reviews, and familiarity Brand 2 — Female-Only Lifestyle Brand (Age 35–65) • Hemp-derived products • Wellness & lifestyle positioning • Softer tone, routine-based messaging • Strong emotional and identity-driven creative Additional Product Categories • Kratom (pain & energy positioning) • Mushroom products (Psychedelic and legal) • New clothing brand (limited drops / lifestyle) • Multiple new product launches + new websites planned You must be comfortable switching creative modes across brands and demographics while maintaining performance discipline. What You’ll Own (Senior-Level Expectations)Creative Strategy & Architecture • Design full-funnel creative systems (Most Aware → Product Aware → Problem Aware) • Build and maintain hook libraries, scene libraries, and script frameworks • Eliminate limiting beliefs in ad creative (trust, skepticism, legality, fatigue) • Create scalable creative playbooks that teams can execute without you • Ensure creative aligns with Meta compliance standards for restricted products Script Leadership (Not Just Writing) • Lead script direction and structure • Edit, improve, and pressure-test scripts written by others • Decide what gets written, why, and how it gets tested • Maintain consistent brand voice across ads, landing pages, and email Performance-Driven Iteration • Analyze creative performance (CTR, hold rate, CPA trends) • Identify which hooks, scenes, and angles are driving conversions • Decide what to scale, refresh, or kill • Build testing roadmaps instead of random creative output Cross-Functional Collaboration • Create precise creative briefs for UGC creators and AI creators • Work with media buyers to align creative and spend • Keep creative assets organized, versioned, and reusable • Support multiple product and website launches without chaos This Role Is NOT For You If • You are primarily a copywriter without strategic ownership experience • You rely on “ideas” instead of frameworks and systems • You have not worked with Meta ads at scale • You are uncomfortable with regulated or restricted categories • You need constant direction or approvals to move forward Senior-Level Requirements (Non-Negotiable) • 5+ years in Creative Strategy, Creative Direction, or Performance Creative roles • Proven experience scaling Meta ad creative for DTC brands • Demonstrated ability to build repeatable creative systems • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and buying behavior • Comfortable working with data to guide creative decisions • Experience working across multiple brands or verticals simultaneously • Highly structured, organized, and self-directed Strongly Preferred (Big Differentiators) • Experience in hemp, kratom, supplements, wellness, or other regulated categories • Experience with older demographics (55+) and female-focused brands • Experience managing UGC or AI-generated creative pipelines • Experience launching new products or brands from scratch • Agency or in-house experience at a performance-driven company Compensation • Competitive, based on experience and location • Global candidates welcome • Long-term role with growth as brands scale We are hiring for impact and ownership, not volume.
