Architecture & Design Trade Manager | San Francisco, CA Remote in Territory | Full-Time We’re hiring on behalf of our client—an iconic ultra-luxury appliance brand known for exceptional design, uncompromising craftsmanship, and a legacy of excellence. They partner with leading architects, designers, builders, and specifiers to bring world-class kitchens to life. They are seeking an Architecture & Design (A&D) Trade Manager to elevate their presence in the San Francisco design community, deepen relationships within the luxury residential sector, and drive high-impact trade engagement across the region. About the Role: The A&D Trade Manager delivers a best-in-class brand experience to trade partners whose product recommendations directly shape purchasing decisions in the luxury and ultra-luxury market. More than 80% of high-net-worth clients rely on the guidance of their designers and architects—making this role essential to cultivating long-term relationships and driving retail revenue. You’ll serve as the face of the brand to the region’s most influential design partners, owning business development, product training, trade program engagement, project pipeline visibility, and the overall trade client journey—from concept to installation and beyond. What You’ll Do Trade Relationship Development & Sales Growth • Build, grow, and manage the luxury trade channel (designers, architects, single-home builders, and kitchen studios) to meet annual retail revenue targets. • Identify, cultivate, and onboard key specifiers who influence ultra-luxury client decisions. • Develop and execute brand education strategies and trade-focused sales programs. • Maintain strong partnerships with regional sales, dealer, and builder teams to ensure seamless project execution and visibility. Trade Program Management • Oversee regional membership, lead funnels, and performance within the trade program. • Support day-to-day trade member needs, ensuring they meet annual sales expectations. • Manage trade reward fulfillment systems and coordination between dealer accounts and specifiers. Training, Education & Brand Experience • Deliver compelling training sessions—in person and virtual—focused on product knowledge, luxury positioning, and design integration. • Review design plans and guide trade clients through optimal appliance placement and kitchen spatial planning. • Provide luxury-level communication, product expertise, and service throughout the entire client journey. Marketing, Events & Brand Visibility • Collaborate with marketing, brand, sales, and showroom teams to create and host high-impact trade events and brand experiences. • Gather program member assets and content for broader brand storytelling. • Build awareness through cultivation strategies that strengthen regional A&D influence. Operational Excellence • Maintain and track CRM data (Salesforce or similar), KPIs, membership activity, and satisfaction metrics (NPS, etc.). • Support the creation and validation of sales tools and materials. • Manage concierge communications, internal coordination, and cross-functional workflows. • Travel within territory (up to 50%) to support events, client meetings, site visits, and industry engagements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • Certification or formal training in interior architecture, design, or spatial planning • 5–7 years of experience in luxury home design, A&D account management, or business development, including experience reading and working with architectural documents (CAD, BIM, etc.), ideally within the kitchen design or appliance sector. • Deep knowledge of luxury home appliances and the competitive market landscape. • Strong presentation skills, exceptional written and verbal communication, and a polished luxury-brand presence. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently. • Ability to build trust, nurture long-term relationships, and deliver exceptional client service. • Passion for cooking, kitchen design, and the luxury home experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. • Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
