This role is designed for a motivated and detail-oriented individual eager to grow their skills in cybersecurity within a dynamic team. What You'll Do: - You will monitor security alerts and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. - You will assist in the investigation and analysis of security incidents. - You will support the implementation of security tools and technologies. - You will collaborate with senior analysts to develop and improve security processes. - You will maintain documentation related to security operations and incident response. - You will participate in regular security assessments and audits. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the security operations center (SOC). - You will stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats. What You Bring: - 1-2 years of experience in a security operations or IT support role. - Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. - Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - A proactive and detail-oriented mindset. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with incident response and threat hunting. - Knowledge of network protocols and security technologies. - Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar. - Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
