It has a proven ability to assess individual job seekers' needs and present a full range of employment, education, and apprenticeship opportunities. The ideal candidate is a professional adept at offering ongoing support, documenting assistance, and tracking progress. They should be highly skilled in building strong relationships with both unit leadership and employers to facilitate successful employment outcomes and maintain an up-to-date database. The Employment Coach is a remote position and will be responsible for covering the following counties: Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Lake Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, St Johns, Sumter, and Volusia. The person selected for the position must work out of one of these counties. Responsibilities Include: • Provide personalized coaching and support to unemployed service members and their spouses. Maintain bi-weekly contact with all assigned job seekers to offer guidance and support. • Assess individual needs by evaluating each job seeker's skills, experience, and career goals. • Present a full range of career options, including employment opportunities, educational programs, and apprenticeship positions. • Assist with the job search process by providing hands-on support services to help job seekers find suitable employment. • Document all interactions and assistance provided, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up. • Communicate with unit leadership to schedule and conduct briefings and to gather essential employment data. • Build and maintain relationships with a network of employers to create and identify new job opportunities. • Update and maintain the employment database with accurate and current information. • Participate in bi-weekly team conference calls to engage in continuous training and ensure a high level of service is maintained for all clients. Qualifications • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in acquisition life cycle activities/management. • Four-year degree in business, Microsoft science, technical or related discipline. • Ability to use Suite of software applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) to create and maintain documents and communications. • Ability to travel regularly throughout Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, and Volusia counties. • Secret Clearance Required Interagency Readiness Solutions, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
