We are looking forward to you joining our Platform Engineering Team. Our Platform Engineering Team is working to solve the Multiplicity Problem. We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps which support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry. We are seeking a hands-on Business/Technical Analyst with strong expertise in Life Insurance and ACORD Life & Annuity data mapping. This role is critical in translating complex business requirements into precise data mappings, documentation, and technical specifications. The ideal candidate is a doer comfortable rolling up their sleeves to analyze data, create mapping specifications, and work directly with engineers and business stakeholders. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can, but not limited to, the following: • Analyze and map ACORD XMLs, JSON, flat files, and legacy data into target logical models. • Conduct gap analysis between ACORD standards, source data, and target BRx models. • Develop data mapping specifications, transformation rules, and validation requirements. • Collaborate with engineering teams to define API specifications (Kafka, JSON, XML, Postgres). • Create and maintain data mapping workbooks, schemas, and technical documentation. • Participate in stability reviews, non-functional requirements, and end-to-end validation. • Support QA with test scenarios, regression test inputs, and validation scripts. • Facilitate workshops and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 7–10 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in Insurance/Annuities. • Hands-on expertise with ACORD Life & Annuity standards and data mapping. • Strong knowledge of data models, XML, JSON, flat files, and relational databases (SQL/Postgres). • Experience producing detailed mapping workbooks and technical specifications. • Familiarity with Kafka topics, API integrations, and data workflows. • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
