Our Platform Engineering Team is solving the Multiplicity Problem and is trusted by some of the most reputable FinTech firms globally. We’ve recently led large-scale conversions and go-lives for systems that power the financial trading industry. We are looking for a 100% hands-on Business Analyst / Product Owner with deep FinTech, Banking, and Trading experience. This is not a Director or Manager role. You will be embedded directly with engineering teams and clients, working under tight timelines, owning execution, and driving delivery end-to-end. The ideal candidate started their career as an engineer, understands how systems are built, and can comfortably operate at the intersection of business, data, and engineering. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can, but not limited to, the following: • Work directly with clients to understand business needs across FinTech, Banking, and Trading platforms • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements with a strong execution mindset • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, system designs, and integration requirements • Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings • Perform gap analysis on existing systems, workflows, and data pipelines • Partner closely with engineers to support development, integration, QA, and go-live activities • Conduct data analysis and system integration mapping (APIs, event flows, ETL) • Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment • Build and maintain client-facing slideware (Google Slides / Google Decks) for design reviews, status updates, and executive communication • Operate hands-on in fast-paced environments with tight delivery timelines Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field • Experience: 10+ years as a hands-on Business Analyst / Product Owner in FinTech, Banking, or Trading • Strong engineering background candidates who started as engineers are highly preferred • Working knowledge of: Java, AWS, UNIX / Linux & REST APIs & Microservices • Proven experience working in engineering consulting or product-driven environments • Strong understanding of system integration, event-driven architectures, and data flows • Comfortable working directly with engineers, QA, and architects on daily execution • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level slide presentations • Experience with Trading platforms, Wealth Management systems, or Capital Markets • Kafka or event-driven systems exposure • Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, CBAP) We work closely with • Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering • Data Integration & Mapping • Technical Specifications & System Design • Java-based Services & Microservices • AWS Cloud Infrastructure • UNIX/Linux Environments • RESTful APIs & Event-Driven Architectures • Agile Delivery (Scrum / Kanban) • Google Slides / Client-Facing Presentations Our Process • Schedule a 15-minute video call with someone from our Team • 1 Proctored GQ Tests (< 1 hours) • Slideware (Presentation Deck) • 30-45 min Final/tech Video Interview • Receive Job Offer If you are interested in reaching out to us, please apply and our team will contact you within the hour.
