We are looking forward to you joining our Platform Engineering Team. Our Platform Engineering Team is working to solve the Multiplicity Problem. We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps which support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry. We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Life Assurance and ACORD Life & Annuity data mapping. You will play a critical role in bridging business and engineering, ensuring complex insurance and financial products are translated into actionable requirements, mappings, and solutions. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can, but not limited to the following: • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into Life & Annuity (L&A) requirements aligned with ACORD standards. • Lead and document ACORD Life & Annuity data mapping efforts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration. • Conduct gap analysis for Life Assurance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement in data workflows and system interoperability. • Work closely with engineering teams to create technical specifications, mapping documents, and integration requirements. • Support end-to-end project execution: requirements, development, integration, testing, and delivery. • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather input and validate solutions. • Create user stories, use cases, and process flows to guide data and engineering teams. • Provide oversight during stability reviews and ensure solutions align with regulatory and business standards in the insurance domain. • Deliver technical and business presentations to clients and internal stakeholders. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Technical Analyst, ideally in Life Assurance, Insurance, or Annuities. • Strong understanding of ACORD Life & Annuity standards and data mapping best practices. • Hands-on experience with performance/stability reviews in insurance or financial systems. • Proficiency in data analysis and integration workflows (ETL processes, APIs, SQL). • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). • Familiarity with Life Assurance product rules, policy admin systems, and compliance frameworks. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Certifications such as CBAP, Agile, or Insurance-related certifications (preferred).
