Develop, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs for intelligent browser features while collaborating cross-functionally and ensuring ethical AI use.
4+ years applied ML experience focused on NLP/generative AI, hands-on LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and end-to-end ML workflow management.
We're looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help push the boundaries of large language models (LLMs) and create intelligent, privacy-aware browser experiences. What You’ll Do • Develop and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) to power intelligent and responsive browser interactions. • Apply techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), summarization, classification, and intent modeling to real-world use cases. • Work with modern ML tooling to manage the full lifecycle of model development — from experimentation to deployment. • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to shape AI-powered features that are aligned with user needs and ethical standards. • Design and run experiments to evaluate model behavior in production, analyze outcomes, and iterate accordingly. • Participate in code reviews, share your work through documentation, and contribute to team-wide design discussions. What You Bring • 4+ years of experience in applied machine learning, with a focus on NLP or generative AI. • Strong hands-on experience fine-tuning and evaluating LLMs using open-source tools and modern ML libraries. • Deep understanding of prompt engineering, embedding-based retrieval, and model evaluation strategies for generative applications. • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end ML workflow, including data exploration, training, testing, and deployment. • A track record of building real-world, user-facing AI features with a focus on privacy, performance, and usability. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a distributed, cross-functional team.
