Job Summary: IntelePeer is seeking an experienced Number Activations Specialist. As an integral member of our Service Activations team, you will be managing moderate to complex orders through all phases of the order process while providing an industry leading customer experience. This position may have access to Protected Data. Responsibilities: Process, coordinate and follow-up on porting activity for Local DID, International DID, ITFS, and Toll Free orders. Process new and change order activity for Local DID, International DID and Toll Free. Resolve order rejections in a timely manner and escalate as needed. Provisioning and troubleshooting for SMS and MMS services. Troubleshoot e911 and d911 order issues and confirm ALI records. Basic troubleshooting of call detail records. Responsible for managing complex projects for key customers. Responsible for managing carriers and partners to ensure timely responses, maintaining order SLAs. Responsible for managing customer expedites and escalations with carriers for porting and provisioning. Working knowledge of all processes and procedures for Service Activations. Monitor all work queues and ensure SLA’s are met. Additional action Items requested based on business needs. Required Qualifications 3+ years of industry experience in local number portability; carrier management, VOIP, networking, etc. 3+ years’ experience in customer service. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Experience with AI and automation a plus. Experience in and understanding of Neustar and Carrier Service Dashboard/Portal and database sources. Prior experience in provisioning LSR’s & LNP orders a plus. Prior experience using SalesForce a plus. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail E Must be willing and able to be flexible for on call work, including some weekends and nights. Education & Experience: Bachelor’sdegree required Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly to customers over the phone, chat, and email. Ability to succeed in a diverse and fast-paced environment, with often shifting priorities. Self-managed, motivated, proactive, and resourceful. Demonstrated ability to multi-task the handling of phone calls, emails, order schedules, and trouble tickets; and meet critical timelines and schedules. Ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work lifting no more than 10 pounds. Occasional lifting, carrying, and standing. Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate office equipment. Vision sufficient to read computer screens, reports, and related department documents. Dexterity to operate computer keyboards and other related office equipment. Endurance sufficient to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent speech communication and hearing.
