Job Title: Project Manager 1 Location: Remote (NY Residents Only) 5–10% travel required for team meetings Employment Type: Full-Time, 3-Year Contract (40 hours/week) Payrate: $47-50/hr About the Role We are seeking a Project Manager to support a growing team focused on market transformation and clean energy initiatives. This role will manage internal processes, coordinate across departments and stakeholders, track budgets and deliverables, and support strategic program development. The Project Manager will also work on data management and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability in program outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Project Management: Lead the development and management of workplans, budgets, milestones, and deliverables. Track project statuses and ensure timely execution. • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating input, addressing challenges, and aligning objectives across multiple parties. • Data & Metrics Management: Use Tableau to collect, organize, and analyze program data. Maintain accurate metrics on pipeline activity, budgets, and outcomes. • Contracting & Procurement: Coordinate procurement and contracting processes, working with legal, finance, and operations to ensure approvals and compliance. • Knowledge Management: Maintain program documentation and systems in SharePoint, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and standard operating procedures are up to date. • Cross-Team Support: Support team meetings, track decisions and actions, and ensure alignment with related initiatives. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required with strong academic background. • 5+ years of relevant project management experience (or Master's degree with 4+ years). • Proven ability to manage budgets, workplans, milestones, and deliverables. • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel (formulas, data analysis, and review of team spreadsheets). • Experience with SharePoint and document management. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage effectively with stakeholders. • Strong judgment, integrity, and ability to navigate sensitive projects with diplomacy. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management software. • Familiarity with Tableau for data analysis and reporting. • Knowledge of building decarbonization measures or clean energy programs. • New York residency preferred.
