Get paid DAILY with ZayZoon! Quick access up to 50% of your earned wages! We are accepting resumes for a dependable and energetic Memory Care Program Coordinator to join our staff. Become part of a team that is committed to providing the highest quality care to our residents in a clean and comfortable setting. Under the supervision of the Memory Care Director, the Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and organizing activities in Memory Care for residents with Alzheimer’s and other related types of dementia. Your responsibilities would be: Responsible for creating and enhancing resident programs and activities. Develops a written calendar of monthly programs and events. Assess and update resident interests, needs and strengths and help set service plans accordingly. Manage and maintain themed programming spaces, life skills stations and cue boxes for residents. Train, schedule, and coach care staff to keep them informed regarding programs/events and their role and responsibilities in leading assigned resident programs. Assess and develop resident specific outing plans, ensure transportation for outings are scheduled, and assist in planning and supervising such outings. Review and revise plan quarterly. Requirements: 2 years of experience in preferred. Must be out-going and energetic, with ability to encourage and motivate residents and staff to attend and participate in programs. Must have a valid drivers license Good written and oral communication skills.
