The Senior Manager, Field Reimbursement is a strategic, field-based leader responsible for driving regional reimbursement strategy and enabling market access for Integra’s Wound Reconstruction, Surgical Reconstruction, Neurosurgery, and ENT portfolios. This role partners closely with commercial leadership and key customer stakeholders to remove economic barriers, optimize coverage pathways, and accelerate adoption of Integra’s technologies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Lead regional reimbursement strategy execution by partnering with customers to optimize the economic adoption of Integra’s Wound, Surgical Reconstruction, Neurosurgery, and ENT technologies, ensuring appropriate documentation of indications, procedures, and related costs. Execute regional payer strategies, including expanding and optimizing commercial coverage for priority technologies, engaging payer decision-makers, and aligning access initiatives with enterprise market access objectives to accelerate adoption and revenue growth. Serve as a strategic partner to regional sales leadership (Sales Representatives, Sales Directors, and Regional Business Leaders) to align reimbursement, coverage, and economic initiatives with commercial objectives. Drive resolution of complex reimbursement challenges and proactively educate key customers on coding, coverage, billing, and payment pathways to accelerate access and minimize barriers to adoption. Partner with the field organization to differentiate Integra’s technologies using clinical and economic value narratives that positively influence market access, purchasing decisions, and growth objectives. Identify, lead, and advance regional opportunity plans that overcome customer reimbursement barriers for emerging and commercialized technologies, integrating economic tools and value-based messaging where appropriate. Lead reimbursement strategy development and execution for Value Analysis Committee (VAC) submissions, collaborating with sales and clinical stakeholders to strengthen economic positioning and approval success. Provide strategic reimbursement guidance to internal stakeholders and external customers (hospitals, clinicians, investigator sites, professional societies) to support market expansion and appropriate utilization. Design and deliver targeted reimbursement and documentation training programs to field teams and customers to ensure compliance, accuracy, and optimal payment outcomes. Develop and conduct regional reimbursement education initiatives aligned to commercial priorities and evolving payer landscapes. Collaborate with Program Directors, physicians, coders, billers, and office managers to ensure current and accurate interpretation of coding, coverage, and Medicare policies. Partner with the Reimbursement Call Center to align messaging and escalation strategies related to prior authorization, payer appeals, and coverage determinations. Monitor and interpret policy and reimbursement developments, translating changes into actionable regional strategies and field guidance. Build and maintain strategic relationships with payer decision-makers, government stakeholders, physicians, and hospital administrators to proactively influence coverage and access pathways. Travel requirements: 40% -60% (field-based position) Must live in the Midwest DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. Education: B.S or B.A. degree required. Experience: 7+ years of experience in payer relations, reimbursement and/or health policy. 5-10 years of successful sales, marketing and/or negotiation experience. Deep understanding of public and private market access landscape with an emphasis on coding and reimbursement. Strong communication skills, including proven track record of presenting market access and economic information to both large and small groups in a way that is both easy to understand, credible and effective. Experience working in a team environment with an emphasis on collaboration and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and clients. Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Sales and Marketing, Medical Affairs, Professional Affairs, Regulatory and Legal to ensure appropriate market access inputs are incorporated in operating plans. Experience and strong subject matter expertise in financial systems and management practices of healthcare providers (physicians, medical directors, HCPs) in a variety of settings (hospitals, hospital outpatient clinics, ASC's, ACO’s, wound care clinics, and physician offices). Experience with government facilities (VA hospitals and clinics, DOD facilities). Experience with advanced wound care & surgical reconstruction technologies (skin substitutes, advanced wound dressings, growth factors, antimicrobial dressings, acellular dermal matrices, surgical mesh, bioabsorbable mesh) and ENT & neurosurgery devices a plus Experience liaising with National Accounts team members on contracting opportunities. Working effectively within market access teams Effectively communicating and concisely explaining complicated concepts to executives within and outside of the firm. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED Ability to utilize a computer, personal electronic devices, as well as other general office equipment. Strong computer skills are required. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
