• Educational internship, traineeship, and scholarship program for students and young professionals from USA and worldwide. • K-12 teacher conferences supporting teachers from California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and more. • Find cures for Type 1 Diabetes and help to improve children's safety through awareness and medical testing. • Create low-cost, origami-based print-and-fold optical microscope for applications in global health and field-based citizen science. • Research menstrual health and menstrual hygiene management (MHM). • Research neurodiversity and create Autism research database. • Research Transhumanist technology applied to healthcare, physical and mental wellness, human immune system, and longevity. • Support and/or operate Angeles Workshop School, New Mercy Care Schools, Everyday Art School, and other educational organizations worldwide. , Description & Expectations The Promontory Academy is seeking a passionate Social Media Marketer & Fundraising Volunteer who believes in the power of education to change lives. This role begins as a volunteer opportunity with the potential to transition into a paid, performance-based position. We’re a globally minded, SDG-aligned online private school offering an interdisciplinary, story-driven approach to learning for students ages 8–15. We need someone who can help us expand our reach, amplify our message, and connect with families who share our belief that education should be meaningful, sustainable, and human-centered. Expectations And Qualifications • Ability to market creatively with little to no budget — resourcefulness and initiative are key. • A strong pre-existing social media presence, especially among parents of children aged 8–15, is highly valued. • Prior experience in grassroots or organizational fundraising preferred but not required. • Understanding and enthusiasm for education, sustainability, and innovation. • Openness to learning about and representing Promontory’s SDG-based, interdisciplinary curriculum model. • Applicants currently located in the USA, Canada, UK, or India are encouraged to apply (we plan to expand outreach globally later this winter). Compensation Structure This is initially a volunteer role. As outreach grows, compensation will be based on a percentage of verified enrollments generated through the applicant’s marketing and referral funnel.
