Title : Mental Health Social Worker Location: Somerville, MA Position: Supportive Housing Clinician Location: Somerville, MA Salary: $70K/yr - $80K/yr + Benefits Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive mental health and biopsychosocial assessments, disability verifications, and individual service plans (ISPs). Provide home- and community-based visits to support housing stability, wellness, and recovery. Deliver crisis intervention, behavioral health symptom management, and de-escalation for clients with mental health and substance use challenges. Facilitate peer support and therapeutic groups aimed at promoting wellbeing and life skills. Collaborate with case managers and other providers to coordinate services, monitor client progress, and address complex clinical needs. Offer clinical consultation and guidance to the supportive housing team on behavioral health and safety concerns. Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with program requirements and lease regulations. Advocate for clients with landlords, healthcare providers, and community agencies to support client goals. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related clinical field. Valid LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC licensure required. Minimum 1 year experience working with homeless, mental health, or substance use populations preferred. Strong knowledge of community resources and housing programs. Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits. Proficiency in electronic record-keeping, Microsoft Office, and common case management software.
