OVERVIEW Job Title: Solutions Architect – PSS Transformation Location: Anywhere in the U.S. (International candidates considered; travel as needed) Compensation: $100+/hour Overview: We are seeking a strategic Solutions Architect to lead the transformation of a legacy Passenger Service System (PSS). This is a complete system rebuild, focusing on the customer experience—from check-in to baggage claim—and involves interfacing with 50–60 other applications across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: • Define and drive enterprise-level solutions for a customer-facing PSS transformation. • Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to design high-level architecture that integrates with existing systems. • Lead strategic planning, ensuring solutions align with business goals and operational requirements. • Work closely with Technical Architects, providing guidance and oversight without performing day-to-day technical implementation. • Present solutions, updates, and recommendations to executive stakeholders. • Follow up on project milestones and ensure alignment across multiple teams and applications. • Support system modernization efforts, particularly in areas impacting customer interactions (check-in, lobby/gate operations, baggage handling, and security). Qualifications: • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, preferably with customer-facing PSS or similar systems. • Strong strategic thinking and solution-design experience for complex, multi-application environments. • Ability to collaborate with executives, program managers, and technical teams. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Comfortable working remotely with flexibility to travel as needed. Preferred: • Experience leading enterprise solutions touching 50+ integrated applications. • Familiarity with airline operations or passenger service systems is highly desirable.
