Learn more about our flexible approach to where we work. Overview About the Role - Instacart’s Retail Partnerships team manages the relationships with all of our retail partners. A vital part of this work is supported by the Strategy & Planning organization, which helps run all operational elements of the team and enables our account teams. Within this group, the Sales Operations pillar is critical to ensuring operational rigor, scalable processes, and high-impact enablement. We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager to help lead this pillar, managing processes and systems that drive consistent growth and execution. This role offers the opportunity to influence company-wide sales effectiveness, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and directly impact Instacart’s ability to scale. About the Team - The Retail Partnerships Sales Operations organization is made up of four primary components: Process, Systems, Reporting, and Enablement. Together, this group ensures account teams are supported with data, planning, and process rigor. The Sales Operations Manager provides day to day support for sales while collaborating closely with account teams, Strategy & Planning, Legal, Finance, and technical partners to enable operational excellence. About the Job Drive the Sales Tool strategy and roadmap that empowers our Account teams (Salesforce, CPQ, Ironclad, etc.). Dive deeply into the sales processes and own documentation to make sure intended outcomes, processes and tool enablement come together. Work with the technical teams to drive the right governance and prioritization of sales tools improvements. Provide day to day support to the frontline sellers across our major tools. About You Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years building, developing, and running sales processes/operations in a fast-growing environment. Experience managing opportunity management, pipeline forecasting, and sales cadence rhythms. Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM tools. Proven ability to bridge strategy, business process, and technical solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to frame issues, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment. Flexible and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Strong collaborator across Sales Leadership, Finance, IT and other stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a technology sales environment. Demonstrated ability to put yourself in the account team’s shoes to design practical solutions. Background leading large cross-functional tool/technology projects. Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work.
