Role Overview: As a Senior IT Project Manager focused on Enterprise Data, you will lead complex data-driven projects that enhance business intelligence and data management capabilities. Your role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. What You'll Do: - You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles for enterprise data initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. - You will coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to drive project success. - You will develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and mitigating risks. - You will communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders. - You will implement best practices in project management methodologies tailored to data-centric projects. - You will facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to align project goals and expectations. - You will ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to data management. - You will mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO. What You Bring: - You have 7+ years of experience managing IT projects, with at least 3 years focused on enterprise data or business intelligence projects. - You possess strong knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar platforms. - You have excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - You hold a PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification. - You are proficient in risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation. - You have experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with data governance, data quality, or master data management initiatives. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. - Experience in a remote work environment managing distributed teams.
