Job Title: Network Engineer Company Overview: INSPYR Solutions is a leading technology services provider specializing in innovative network and cybersecurity solutions. Role Overview: As a Network Engineer at INSPYR Solutions, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our clients' network security and performance. You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining advanced firewall systems and ensuring seamless network operations in a remote work environment. What You'll Do: - You will manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls to ensure robust network security. - You will convert layer 4 firewall rules to layer 7 using userID and appID for enhanced application control. - You will monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal uptime. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions. - You will document network configurations, changes, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing. - You will stay updated with the latest network security trends and technologies to recommend improvements. - You will support incident response and recovery efforts related to network security breaches. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Palo Alto firewalls. - Strong understanding of network protocols and firewall rule conversion from layer 4 to layer 7. - Experience with userID and appID integration in firewall policies. - Authorization to work in the US (USC, Green Card, or equivalent). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills for remote collaboration. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE). - Experience with other firewall platforms and network security tools. - Knowledge of cloud networking and security practices. - Familiarity with automation and scripting for network management.
