Job Title: Network Engineer Company Overview: INSPYR Solutions is a leading technology services provider specializing in innovative network and cybersecurity solutions. Role Overview: As a Network Engineer at INSPYR Solutions, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our clients' network security infrastructure. Your expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and network protocols will ensure robust, secure, and efficient network operations. This role is remote and offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects with a dynamic team. What You'll Do: - You will manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls to maintain network security and performance. - You will convert layer 4 firewall rules to layer 7 using userID and appID for enhanced security controls. - You will monitor network traffic and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless connectivity. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions. - You will maintain documentation of network configurations and security policies. - You will stay updated with the latest network security trends and technologies. - You will provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams. What You Bring: - You have at least 5 years of experience managing Palo Alto firewalls. - You possess strong knowledge of network protocols and security principles. - You are skilled in converting layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID. - You have experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. - You hold authorization to work in the US (USC, GC, or equivalent). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with other firewall platforms and network security tools. - Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE). - Familiarity with cloud networking and security solutions. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
