Role Overview: As a Backend API Engineer at INSPYR Solutions, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Your work will support the seamless integration of backend services, ensuring high performance and reliability for our clients' applications. What You'll Do: - You will design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using modern frameworks. - You will collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate backend services. - You will write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - You will optimize API performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability. - You will participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - You will maintain and update API documentation to support development and client use. - You will stay current with emerging backend technologies and industry trends. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on API design. - You are proficient in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as Node.js, Express, or similar. - You have strong knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL. - You possess experience with version control systems like Git. - You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You are authorized to work in the U.S. (US Citizen, Green Card holder, or equivalent). Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Experience working in Agile development environments.
