Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, whether they are seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring hospice care. Your commitment to providing personalized care will make a significant difference in their daily lives. Responsibilities • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing. • Monitor patients’ health and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. • Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. • Support individuals with developmental disabilities and autism by fostering independence and promoting social engagement. • Lift and transfer individuals safely as needed while ensuring their comfort and dignity. • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in home care settings or group homes. • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. • Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Skills • Strong ability to provide compassionate care tailored to individual needs. • Experience in patient monitoring and understanding of health-related issues. • Knowledge of senior care practices and the unique needs of elderly clients. • Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable. • Proficient in home care techniques including cooking nutritious meals for clients. • Ability to perform hospice care duties with sensitivity and respect for the individual’s wishes. • Physical capability to lift clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
