The Investor Specialist provides service and support to engaged individual clients and some institutional relationships. This role involves assisting clients with inquiries related to account funding, investment transactions, and overall client experience.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Strong communication, organizational skills, and knowledge of IRS regulations related to IRAs are preferred.
The Investor Specialist will report to the Investor Services Manager in the Individual Investor Service - Savers and CS - Individual Service - Engaged departments. This role is responsible for providing service and support to engaged, individual clients, as well as some institutional relationships such as introducing brokers, Futures Commission Merchants, and investment sponsors. The Investor Specialist will work directly with a variety of clients to assist with new business inquiries, account funding, investment transactions, account transfers, distributions, online assistance and managing the overall client experience with Inspira. The role also assumes the primary responsibility of interacting with all necessary internal Inspira departments to resolve client requests or answer any inquiries related to the investments held in the account. • Serve as the primary point of contact for engaged individual clients and a variety of institutional clients • Have significant knowledge of IRS regulations and restrictions related to IRAs including complex account transactions and prohibited transactions • Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the account and investment life cycle • Understand Inspira products and services to respond to client inquiries regarding • Answer incoming and outgoing client phone calls, meeting established SLAs (some minimal case work involved as well) • Maintain a professional approach to client service, serving as the client’s internal ally and partner • If needed, meet, and assist on site clients • Other duties as assigned Training Schedule/Shift: 8 a.m. CT to 5 p.m. CT (approximately 6 weeks of training) Regular Schedule/Shift: 8 a.m. CT to 5 p.m. CT Qualifications Years of Experience: • 1-3 years of experience . Degree: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field . Certification: N/A . Skills & Abilities: • Strong relationship and communication skills applied to both internal and external clients • Excellent organizational skills, technical acumen allowing the ability to multi-task across systems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Expertise to proactively analyze and make quick, sound decisions • Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply • Ability to solve complex issues, both independently and in a collaborative team environment • Strong computer aptitude with proficiencies in Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word • Being a self-starter and the ability to work independently • Ability to maintain the highest quality of service and professionalism • Extensive knowledge of and experience with IRA’s and IRS rules and regulations preferred • Experience with Alternative Investments/Private Placements preferred
