Mechanical Electrical Estimator – Remote Our client is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Mechanical/Electrical Estimator to join their team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, the estimator will lead the preparation of comprehensive project estimates and proposals—analyzing project requirements, performing detailed takeoffs, and assessing cost data to deliver accurate, competitive pricing. They will work closely with project managers and engineers, maintain historical cost databases, and foster strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. As a key contributor, this person will also attend client meetings and site visits, ensuring a deep understanding of each project’s scope while supporting the company’s reputation for precision and excellence. To thrive as the Mechanical / Electrical Estimator, you should have: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical estimating. • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, construction practices, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Proficiency in estimating software and the MS Office Suite, with solid analytical and mathematical skills. • Professional certifications in estimating or project management are a plus, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams and communicate effectively. • Willingness to travel as needed, with solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
