Material Coordinator / Logistics Associate Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan Pay Rate: $19.00/hr | OT Available | Temp to Permanent | Start Date: 1/5/26 - End Date: 12/31/26 Shift: Day shift – 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm (some weekend work may be required) Our client is seeking a motivated Material Coordinator / Logistics Associate to join their team. This role offers hands-on experience in logistics, material management and quality control. Why You’ll Want to Join: • Hands-On Experience: Direct involvement in logistics, material management, and quality control. • Optional Overtime $19.00/hr with optional overtime. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, engineers, and vendors. • Skill Development: Build expertise in ERP systems, shipping coordination, material handling, and supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: • Validate incoming shipments to ensure accuracy with purchase orders and supplier documentation. • Verify quantities received and resolve discrepancies with the Purchasing team. • Schedule and coordinate shipments, including LTL freight and small parcel deliveries. • Support quality control by reviewing incoming materials with build teams and engineers. • Organize, stage, and deliver materials to support line-side stocking programs. • Maintain accurate documentation for purchasing, receiving, and accounting; process problem invoices and returns. • Communicate shipment status, exceptions, and updates with internal and external stakeholders. • Safely load and unload machinery and materials; operate forklifts as needed. Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in a business or logistics environment. • Logistics, Material Management, or Supply Chain experience preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Epicor ERP experience is a plus. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts (Hi-Lo) safely. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
