Participate in research clinical protocol activities and provide application treatment support for research brain indications. Perform treatment related techno-clinical data collection, de-identification, and archiving. Communicate with the clinical teams to collect treatment-related follow-up clinical data. Analyze treatment and follow-up data and generate input data for continuous optimization of treatment methodology. Generate treatment summaries and case reviews, and present internally and externally Perform site training for preclinical research treatments at scientific research centers. Hands-on support for preclinical research performed by researchers (assuming varying level of treatment leadership). Work within a cross-functional clinical, scientific, and product teams to optimize clinical and preclinical trial results, and in the commercialization of novel indications. Demonstrate expertise and in-depth understanding in all aspects of the technology. Mange and adept to frequent changes in treatment methodology Pre-prepare for clinical and for preclinical sessions, and verify (usually vis-à-vis Insightec technical teams) that required system has undergone the required changes for the experiment Support and lead techno-clinical data analyses and scientific investigations to identify best practice, quality trends and product needs. Assist with defining specifications for novel indications and products. Participate and support scientific investigations associated with research projects beyond the scope of specific clinical trials and preclinical research, such as: Computational tools for the improvement of clinical device and treatments Analysis and interpretation of specific case (treatment) reports Sophisticated data mining for your own, and for other researchers investigations Generation and authoring of scientific publications Occasional participation in hands-on physics and preclinical investigation as means for training and capability expansion Qualifications: PhD in a Biomedical Engineering or Scientific Discipline (Neuroscience, Biology, Physics, or Chemistry). Motivation for affecting healthcare and for the introduction of innovative options for patient benefit For internal candidates - Insightec’s Level 2 and Level 1 Certification for Neuro 650 Applications. Ethic consistency with hands-on participation in preclinical research Work effectively with scientific costumers, clinical personnel and with other company employees in an international environment, and Committed to address customer academic needs and environment. Able to work autonomously and professionally, in a dynamic environment. Creative and able to perform well under pressure; Able to find optimal techno clinical solutions to first-time-seen problems, occasionally requiring “back-office” support in real time. Full proficiency of the English language, with the ability to express themselves well to customers and colleagues both speaking and in written form and to teach in English. Able to lecture in front of large audience. Able to perform domestic and international traveling up to once in two week and 50% of the time.
