The Installation Project Manager is responsible for ensuring a timely, professional, and efficient installation of INSIGHTEC equipment and services to customers in accordance with contractual obligations. The Installation Project Manager has ownership of multiple such deliveries and is responsible for ensuring the appropriate deployment of company resources to meet all customer requirements in accordance with company objectives. The core of this positions job scope will require: Customer site inspection and initial design incl. site survey planning and scheduling Owning site readiness scheduling (to extent we can influence this) and green light readiness to install. Delivery and installation coordination with customer and 3rd parties. Process documentation and continuous improvement for meeting company implementation goals in the Americas and supporting global when necessary. Coordinating internal training, and support with other key internal and external stakeholders. Ownership of Pre-delivery and pre-install communications Project management for all installs – 650 systems, 220 systems/modules, body system and system relocations Supporting commercial team as necessary in site survey/planning scheduling and resourcing Collaborating with CAM / launch manager and customer success manager for the necessary handoffs to go live to ensure smooth customer experience. This position will require travel within the America’s but will also work on standard work to train others to assume much of the field driven scope needed to be successful. Responsibilities: Accountable for the execution and scheduling of timely onsite visits and surveys in support of our commercial team. Creation, completion, distribution, and documentation of onsite survey reports. Co-owner of CAD drawing room layouts and providing best options for future site planning. Manage, evolve, and disseminate installation documentation. Provide expert level instruction and job aides for the mechanical installation teams including OJT and remote guidance. Provide expert level instruction and job aides for calibration and testing teams including OJT and remote guidance. Schedule integration actions with appropriate OEM stakeholders. First line of support to Field Service Specialists during installations including triage and troubleshooting. Proactive communication of installation schedule, status, escalation, and turnover to key internal stakeholders. Become the liaison between service field team and HQ, to ID systemic issues and make recommendations and put processes in place for improvements. Provide technical guidance to Architects, Device Equipment Planners, Shielding Vendors and Facilities personnel and perform detailed site walks with the customer and trades. Ability to manage expectations from our Capital reps which requires creativity and “outside the box” solutions for challenging layouts with the goal of finding a path of implementation for motivated customers Ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies like NRTL, AHCA and other international accreditation services. Own vendor relationships like UL, TUV, Hilti and others that we work with on projects. Formalize the pre-installation announcements and post installation complete documentation with our external clients. Drive timely post-implementation documentation closures without defects. Target 75% of installs occur within a 5-day cycle-time for field teams. Target installations be completed 75% of the time within a single trip. Provide feedback to key internal stakeholders about opportunities to improve. Communicate and coordinate with all affected functions in the company to ensure awareness of all customer requirements and obligations for assigned customer programs. Maintain accurate and appropriate data in the appropriate data systems for project and customer management. Keep Salesforce current with updates information, statuses and milestones. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience 2-3 years in a similar role, handling complex / multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in dealing with facilities, supply chain, clinicians, contractors, and logistical teams within a diverse customer organization. High customer awareness with focus on proactive communication and updates. Pro-active and customer-focused approach to problem-solving Independent and able to handle multiple projects in parallel.
