Job Description: About the Role This role owns the complete marketing strategy for our Reporting & Tools business, representing a sizable portion of company revenue. You will be responsible for managing a multi-million-dollar marketing budget while driving pipeline generation, customer retention, and market share growth across both legacy on-premise solutions and our emerging AI Semantic Platform. As a key member of the marketing leadership team reporting directly to the CMO, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and executive leadership to align marketing investments with business objectives. Your success will be measured by achieving YoY growth targets through a combination of net-new pipeline, customer expansion, and successful platform migration. Goals will be linked to marketing-attributed pipeline, win rates, marketing-attributed bookings, customer expansion revenue, product adoption metrics, and brand perception. Brand & Portfolio Strategy You will help consolidate 13 acquired products under a unified brand, architect AI-native marketing systems, and establish category leadership where our AI Semantic Platform creates new market opportunity while legacy solutions require revenue protection and customer migration. • Unify fragmented product portfolio under a single brand strategy with clear market positioning • Design migration messaging to support the strategy of protecting legacy revenue while accelerating modern platform adoption • Partner with product marketing to position individual solutions within the unified portfolio narrative AI-First Demand Engine • Build and optimize an AI-powered demand engine that intelligently prioritizes technology solutions towards our target buyer • Design predictive analytics capabilities, intelligent automation workflows, and AI-driven content generation to maximize pipeline efficiency and sales velocity • Establish attribution models connecting marketing investments to revenue outcomes across the entire customer journey Customer & Partner Marketing • Partner with product marketing to develop retention and expansion programs through compelling positioning and customer-facing content that drives product adoption and reduces churn • Drive customer evangelism programs, reference development, and advocacy initiatives that generate authentic social proof • Build co-marketing frameworks with strategic technology and channel partners to expand market reach and accelerate pipeline growth • Play a key role in the cross-sell strategy for the Reporting & Tools business, looking for opportunities to develop targeted cross-sell initiatives at the Office of the CFO buyer Marketing Technology & Data Infrastructure • Evaluate and influence the marketing technology stack strategy, governance, and vendor relationships across marketing automation, analytics, ABM platforms, and emerging AI tools • Partner with Revenue Operations to establish data infrastructure ensuring accurate attribution, lead routing, and performance measurement across all marketing channels • Drive integration between marketing systems and sales/customer success platforms to enable seamless customer experiences • Evaluate and help implement modern technologies that provide competitive advantage in efficiency or effectiveness Leadership & Team Development You will lead three accomplished senior marketing leaders, each managing their own teams. Your leadership approach should emphasize strategic coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and building a high-performance culture. Key responsibilities include: • Coaching senior leaders on career development while fostering collaboration across Growth, Partner, and Digital Marketing teams • Making strategic resource allocation decisions across competing priorities and marketing channels • Building organizational capabilities in emerging areas like AI-driven marketing and platform-led growth strategies • Creating frameworks for decision-making that empower your leaders while maintaining strategic alignment • Recruiting and developing top talent to scale the organization as the business grows Key Stakeholder Relationships • Corporate Marketing: Align strategic priorities across corporate marketing functions including Brand, Events, Content, PR/AR, Web, and Automation teams. • Sales Leadership: Partner on pipeline targets, account strategy, and sales enablement priorities • Product Management: Collaborate on go-to-market strategy, positioning, and product launch planning • Customer Success: Align on expansion marketing, customer lifecycle programs, and retention initiatives • External Partners: Manage strategic relationships with agencies, technology vendors, and channel partners Required Qualifications Experience & Background • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3 years in senior leadership roles • Proven track record managing high-performing marketing leaders who themselves manage teams • Change leader that can drive adoption of portfolio-led, platform-first marketing across teams historically organized around individual products • Deep experience in B2B enterprise software • Demonstrated success consolidating multiple products/brands into unified go-to-market strategies • History of building and scaling demand generation programs that consistently deliver pipeline and hit revenue targets Technical & Functional Expertise • Expert-level knowledge of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools • Strong analytical capabilities with experience building attribution models and ROI frameworks • Experience managing complex MarTech stacks and driving cross-platform integration • Proficiency in data-driven decision making and performance optimization Strategic & Leadership Capabilities • Strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills • Track record of driving organizational change and building high-performance teams • Strong executive presence and communication skills for board and C-suite interactions • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with competing priorities • Ability to challenge legacy thinking and drive adoption of new ways of working Desired Qualifications • Experience with platform-led growth strategies and ecosystem marketing • Background in category creation or repositioning initiatives • Knowledge of on-premise to cloud migration marketing strategies • Prior experience at companies that have gone through M&A integration • Familiarity with regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government) and their unique marketing requirements Success Metrics (First 12-18 Months) • Achieve pipeline and bookings generation targets • Successfully launch unified brand positioning and messaging framework • Implement AI-powered demand engine delivering measurable efficiency improvements • Build high-performing team with clear succession planning • Establish category leadership positioning validated by analyst recognition • Drive measurable improvement in customer retention and expansion rates through targeted marketing programs Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
