Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Digital team in Bethesda, Maryland. This is a 1-year contract with possible extensions. Candidates must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week. Must haves: • 5-7 years of experience in project management • Expertise in project planning and must have experience with Smart Sheets • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities • Experience supporting large-scale system transformations (e.g., eCommerce platforms, process redesign, system migrations) • Proven experience leading and facilitating meetings, taking notes, distributing project updates and tasks, following up and following through to ensure project deliverables and issues are addressed on time • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills • Retail or merchandising experience is a plus • Experience working with Product Management and Agile teams Day to day: You will support our commerce transformation project focused on re platforming our commerce website/ App. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and bring a strong foundation in project/program management. This position reports to the Vice President, Digital Product Management, and will collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Technology, Digital and Store Support Center teams. Other duties include: • Provide tools and support for visibility & communications on status, progress, issues at program level and across the various components of the program • Collaborate closely with product owners, business leaders, and technical stakeholders to drive scoping and planning for projects • Track and report on progress on a wide range of initiatives within digital commerce, escalating key decisions and risks as necessary • Communicate with business users, program leadership, and Total Wine executive leadership team on commerce program updates, timelines, risks, and key decisions • Work with business leaders and product owners to ensure all commerce workstreams have robust documentation and QRGs that are easily accessible to business users • Facilitate change management as new digital tools are rolled out The pay is 70/hr to 80/hr depending upon experience. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
