Position: Senior Infrastructure Project Manager Location: Southfield, MI – onsite 3 days a week Duration: 1 year with extensions Must Haves: • 5+ years of project management experience • 5+ years of experience partnering with business stakeholders in a cross functional matrix environment • 5+ years managing infrastructure projects (e.g., networking, security, facilities, cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades) • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SDLC / Waterfall) • Bachelors Degree Plusses: • PMP certification Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join one of our clients in Southfield, MI. This person leads complex, cross-functional IT infrastructure initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with the project lifecycle and quality standards. This role owns end-to-end project execution, including resource, financial, risk, vendor, and change management, while driving process improvements and ensuring business objectives are met. Other responsbilites include: • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities • Manage vendor contracts, SLAs and POs for the duration of the project. • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs • Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution • Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, etc. • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team • Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards • Manage project issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline Contract/Contract-to-Hire Roles: Compensation: $63/hr to $68/hr. • * Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. • * Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
