Day-to-Day Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of a large, high‑visibility State of Michigan technology implementation. This role serves as the primary client‑facing delivery lead, owning execution from project kickoff through production deployment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned delivery leader with extensive experience navigating regulated state government environments, managing executive stakeholders, and successfully deploying complex technology solutions into production. This position goes beyond task‑level project management and requires strong judgment, delivery ownership, and the ability to confidently manage scope, risk, and expectations in a politically sensitive environment. Responsibilities • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a complex State of Michigan technology implementation from kickoff through production deployment. • Serve as the primary liaison between internal delivery teams and State of Michigan stakeholders, including program leadership and executive sponsors. • Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, and delivery roadmaps aligned with contractual commitments. • Translate client requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans for development and integration teams. • Lead client status meetings, steering committees, and executive‑level updates. • Proactively manage scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines in a highly governed environment. • Confidently push back on client requests that impact scope, schedule, or delivery quality while maintaining strong working relationships. • Align internal execution across development, integration, and delivery leadership to ensure successful production releases. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a technical field; Engineering strongly preferred. • 10+ years of experience delivering complex technology projects for state government clients. • PMP certification. • Demonstrated success managing large, multi‑stakeholder technology initiatives. • Proven experience leading projects that successfully deploy software into production. • Strong experience with business process automation, workflow automation, and system implementation projects. • Experience with Appian strongly preferred; experience with similar BPM or workflow platforms acceptable. • Ability to operate effectively in regulated, compliance‑driven environments and engage executive‑level stakeholders.
