Required Skills & Experience • Scrum Master supporting software development teams in Agile environments • Experience managing multiple Scrum teams/workstreams simultaneously (2+ teams preferred) • Strong hands-on facilitation of core Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, grooming/refinement, retrospectives, sprint reviews) • Life insurance and annuity industry experience • Strong Jira skills (managing boards, workflows, sprint tracking, reporting/metrics) • Experience partnering directly with customers/business stakeholders as well as engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders Job Description Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to support our client in the life insurance industry. This Scrum Master will be hands-on, execution-focused, and able to quickly assess whether teams are on track, remove blockers, and drive outcomes. This role will support two workstreams and manage two Scrum teams operating in 2-week sprints. The work includes both a front-end and back-end component, requiring close interaction with customer stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure delivery aligns with customer requirements. A separate Scrum team offshore will manage back-end Scrum activities; this Scrum Master will be the primary “front-end” driver, owning delivery coordination to the customer and ensuring alignment between customer needs, engineering delivery, and sprint execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and deeply experienced with Agile delivery best practices, with strong Jira expertise. Life insurance domain experience is strongly preferred. The client is located in Livonia, Michigan with some expectations to come on site for client interaction. If not local, the individual is expected to travel to the client roughly every 6-8 weeks for high level meetings.
