Required Skills & Experience • Bachelors Degree in an Engineering field • 5+ years of medical device new product development experience, specifically in engineering/project management and working within related functions • Demonstrated ability to manage new product development project lifecycles while successfully delivering within schedule, scope, budget, and quality specs. • Strong understanding of how to run complex technical teams and collaborate with internal & external stakeholders Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Thorough understanding of medical device regulations and standards including FDA design controls and ISO 13485 Job Description A client in the Lakewood, CO area is looking for a Project Manager to support their new product development and special projects. This PM plans and executes complex medical device sustaining development programs, through expert management of scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can synchronize diverse workstreams, collaborating with an array of internal and external stakeholders, while supporting the strategic vision established by technical leadership. This candidate will need to come from a hands-on engineering background, preferably within medical device system engineering or a similar field. The candidate will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, complex medical device product development initiatives, and ensure performance to schedule, scope, budget, and quality specs. This position pays between 55-65/hr depending on level of experience
