Job Description An employer is looking for a Lead Micro Focus Developer to sit remotely. You will primarily be tasked with leading modernization efforts that the client is currently working on, continuing to migrate systems from mainframe to Micro Focus and Azure. You will engineering integrations for legacy and cloud based systems, while helping stabilize the Micro Focus environment. Additional tasks will include providing guidance on migration efforts, engineer cloud based solutions for the new environment and assist with development efforts for the Micro Focus platform for various systems currently moving from mainframe. Skills and Requirements Must haves: 10+ years experience in software engineering and mainframe modernization Experience operating in a lead role, delivering solutions Extensive experience in Micro Focus development Well versed in legacy systems, IMS, and Cobol development Azure, containerization experience Strong MS SQL skills- SSIS, SSRS Heavy back-end, integration development experience DB2 experience
