Our client is launching an innovative program to expand behavioral health and community support services for our Medi-Cal eligible members. We're seeking anLCSW leader who thrives in ambiguity and can build something from the ground up.This is a unique chance to shape a new program from inception. You'll develop and implementbehavioral health and community support services for housing-insecure and other low-incomeindividuals, while building critical partnerships with local organizations. Starting as a 20-hour/week administrative leadership role, this position will scale to full-time as yousuccessfully credential, recruit clients, and grow the practice to sustainability.The initial 6-month contract (renewable based on program success and funding) offers the flexibility of fractional work with clear pathways to expansion as the patient base develops.What You'll Do:• Lead program development working closely with our Medi-Cal and Technologyconsultant• Navigate credentialing with Medi-Cal/Medicaid health plans using your license tojumpstart the practice• Build strategic partnerships with 2-1-1, homelessness agencies, health plans, andcommunity organizations• Deliver billable clinical services and community supports as client base grows• Develop infrastructure for future staff supervision and program expansion• Set and track KPIs to demonstrate program impact and sustainabilityWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentialed in California, independentlylicensed and ready to bill• 5+ years experience in mental health and/or social service delivery• Deep understanding of CalAIM and innovative Medi-Cal behavioral health programming• Proven experience with Medi-Cal/Medicaid health plan credentialing• Track record delivering both individual and group therapy/counseling services• Entrepreneurial mindset-you've thrived in startup, grant-funded, or new programenvironments• 1-2 years supervisory experience with ability to mentor and develop staff• Strong goal-setting skills using KPIs, OKRs, or similar frameworks; comfortable withproject management tools like Asana Nice to Have Skills & Experience• Lived or professional experience in outreach, homelessness care, or social serviceprovision• Experience collaborating with external consultants in implementation projects• Knowledge of billing, authorizations, claims data, and EHR/referral systems• Background in quality improvement (PDSA, QI/QA methodologies) Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
