Role Overview: As a Piping Engineering Supervisor, you will lead a remote team of piping designers and checkers, ensuring project scopes are well-defined and deadlines are consistently met. Your leadership will be critical in managing schedules, overseeing design quality, and driving team performance to deliver exceptional engineering solutions. What You'll Do: - You will manage and supervise a remote team of piping designers and checkers. - You will scope out work requirements and allocate resources effectively. - You will create and maintain detailed team schedules to meet project deadlines. - You will lead the design and checking processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. - You will coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to align on project goals. - You will monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed. - You will foster a collaborative and productive remote work environment. - You will provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for your team. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping engineering or related fields. - Proven experience managing remote engineering teams. - Strong knowledge of piping design standards and engineering principles. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency with engineering design software and project management tools. - Strong leadership and communication skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Insight Global or similar staffing and engineering service companies. - Familiarity with industry-specific codes such as ASME, ANSI, or API. - Background in both design and checking roles within piping engineering. - Experience working in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.
