Required Skills & Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO or C suite executive Prior experience managing complex calendars with competing priorities, including internal meetings, external events, and travel itineraries across time zones Experience preparing and presenting financial reports, presentations, and internal documents with accuracy and confidentiality Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable—thrives in ambiguity with the ability to anticipate needs, think several steps ahead, and operate with urgency Must be confident, poised, and comfortable exercising sound judgment — including respectfully pushing back and speaking up when priorities, timelines, or decisions require clarification or adjustment Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree 3PL or logistics industry experience Prior experience with NetSuite or ADP Job Description: Insight Global is hiring an Executive Assistant for a third-party logistics company in downtown Chicago, Illinois. This role will be hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite. The Executive Assistant will report directly into the CEO and is critical to the efficiency and effectiveness of the CEO. This role requires exceptional judgment, communication skills, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic partner who thrives on ownership, confidentiality, and operational excellence. Main Responsibilities Include: •Manage and optimize the CEO’s complex calendar and inbox (Outlook) •Act as a gatekeeper—prioritizing and filtering requests from internal stakeholders •Coordinate all CEO travel •Prepare and organize meeting materials, presentations, agendas, and briefing documents •Preparing and present financial reports, presentations, and internal documents with accuracy and confidentiality •Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion •Track follow-ups, deadlines, and commitments—holding leadership accountable •Build and improve structure and processes in a growing organization •Partner cross functionally with leadership, operations, HR, and finance teams to support business objectives
