About the Company: Our client is a national Electrical Engineering firm with a mission to support large and small energy companies and clients. The company values growth and provides a culture of learning and development. About the Role: Our client is looking for an entry level Lighting Designer to join the team. This is an onsite role that works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. There are options to work half day Fridays! There is full training provided on processes and the software utilized. This is an entry level role with room to grow within the company. The purpose of the role is to meet with clients to discuss large-scale lighting projects. 50% of the role is customer facing to obtain design details, preferences, and discuss the project. Will also involve designing the work order for the project along with client updates and follow ups. Qualifications: • Proven client/customer support experience in a corporate or professional environment. • Strong software skills and ability to learn new systems and processes. • Highly organized, ability to juggle multiple projects at once. Required Skills: • Ability to work onsite. • Has reliable transportation. • Ability to learn new software. Preferred Skills: • Proven experience with CAD/GIS/design. • Interest or background in utilities, telecom, commercial wiring or power space. • Completed AS degree.
