Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Project Deployment Manager to join our team and support the successful deployment, integration, and optimization of our solutions within client environments. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development and product management to ensure seamless installations, configurations, and rollouts of our technology. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach. Key Responsibilities: Sales Support- Post Sale • Understand the deal scope- Review the sales contract, scope of work, and client requirements to ensure clarity on deliverables, timelines, and expectations. • Participate in Handoff Meetings- Join transition meetings with the sales team to gain a detailed understanding of the client's needs and context, and address any immediate questions. • Document Client Details- Consolidate all relevant client information, including preferences, pain points, and communication protocols, into a centralized repository. • Facilitate internal alignment- Ensure all stakeholders, are aligned on objectives, timelines, and expectations to avoid misunderstandings • Communicate with Clients- Establish initial contact with the client to introduce the project and set the tone for collaboration moving forward. • Monitor Handoff Success- Track the transition process, address any gaps in understanding or execution, and provide feedback to improve future handoffs. Solution Deployment and Implementation: • Manage the kickoff, installation, configuration, and deployment of our solutions at customer sites or in cloud environments. • Work with the engineering team as necessary to ensure the solution integrates effectively with the client’s existing infrastructure, systems, and networks. • Oversee deployment timelines, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery. • Oversee post-installation testing and validation in collaboration with the customer and the engineering team Configuration and Customization: • Work with the engineering team to customize and configure solutions to meet specific client requirements, often requiring modification of system settings, scripting, or minor code changes. • Work with the engineering team to implement any necessary customizations to align the deployed solution with client specifications and performance goals. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: • Facilitate troubleshooting and debugging support during and after deployment, addressing issues with network configurations, compatibility, and software integration. • Work closely with product development and engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges that arise during deployment. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: • Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed deployment documentation, including setup guides, configuration settings, and troubleshooting steps. • Continue to develop best practices and deployment standards to ensure consistency across client installations. Client Training and Support: • Offer post-deployment support and training to clients, ensuring they understand the solution and can manage basic configurations. • Act as a customer point of contact, providing insights and recommendations to help clients maximize their use of the solution. Continuous Improvement: • Collect client feedback and deployment data to identify areas for improvement in deployment processes and product functionality. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to suggest and implement changes that enhance deployment efficiency and product reliability. Skills: • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in high-pressure environments. • Project Management: Ability to manage deployment projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with clients and internal teams. • Agency: High level of agency, comfortable working with ambiguity, and proactive approach to collaborating with team members to solve problems Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 2-5 years of experience in deployment engineering, systems integration, DevOps, or a similar role. • 2-5 years of experience in customer-facing roles or a strong customer service orientation. • Nice to have: experience with scripting, networking, and AWS.
