Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Inside Higher Ed is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for Accounting at Lone Star College. The role involves teaching courses, creating engaging lessons, and providing support to students to achieve course objectives. Responsibilities • Teaches Accounting courses at a variety of times and locations • Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material • Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner • Utilizes a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines • Meets with and advises students either before or after class or by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods • Evaluates students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress • Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community • Attends meetings, trainings, and orientations as required • Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned Skills • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting • 3 years Non-teaching work experience in the field Benefits • Tuition waiver • Participation in a tax deferred retirement plan • Professional development opportunities • Excellent work/life balance Company Overview • Inside Higher Ed is the online source for news, opinion, and jobs related to higher education.
