InRhythm is a leading modern product consultancy and digital innovation firm engaged by Fortune 50 enterprises to launch next-generation digital products. The Principal Delivery Lead/Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of complex software and technology consulting engagements, requiring deep technical knowledge and strong project management skills. Responsibilities • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, guiding them on product roadmaps, technical strategy, and delivery approaches to align project deliverables with key business objectives. • Define, negotiate, and manage project scope, budget, and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring clear and actionable definitions of 'done' and effectively managing change requests. • Proactively engage with and manage expectations of all stakeholders (internal and external), providing clear, consistent, and transparent communication on project status, risks, and performance. • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum/SAFe/Kanban), and software engineering practices across client engagements and the organization. • Own the holistic project lifecycle, including planning, estimation, resource allocation, and tracking of complex, enterprise-level software development or modernization projects. • Possess a strong technical background to understand system architectures, question technical proposals, manage trade-offs, and unblock engineering teams for efficient execution. • Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and dependencies across multiple cross-functional teams, escalating critical issues to senior management when necessary. • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project quality, team performance, and value delivery, advocating for stability, performance, and scalability improvements. • Lead and mentor one or more cross-functional engineering and design teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, and results-driven culture. • Coach teams in Agile principles and practices, facilitating ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives), and driving team ownership over continuous improvement. Skills • Typically 10+ years of total experience in technical roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, enterprise-level software or IT projects (minimum of 3+ years in a senior or principal-level technical delivery role). • Strong background in software development, technical product delivery, and modern engineering practices (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is required; experience in scaling frameworks like SAFe or IT service management frameworks like ITIL is highly desirable. Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Company Overview • InRhythm is a technology consulting firm.
